In mid-December 2024, TRAC provided comments on Santa Cruz County’s Electric Rail Project Study. Our comments focused on various ways of keeping the Santa Cruz rail project project affordable and within the bounds that Trump Administration 2.0 may be willing to fund, e.g., cost-effective and with significant private sector participation.
